The Tigers faced North Shelby Friday in the 1st round of district play. North Shelby got on the scoreboard with a 2-out bloop single in the 1st. They would add single runs in the 2nd and 3rd as well before Brashear rallied for a pair of runs in the 5th to close the gap to 3-2. North Shelby answered with a 5-run outburst as they went on to win 8-2 and advance to the district semi-finals. Aden Zentz and Brandon Jockimsen had hits for Brashear. Brhet Place got the start for Brashear with Brandon Jocimsen pitching in relief.
